Heiltsuk / Bella Bella

The Heiltsuk Nation are a coastal Indigenous Nation based in Bella Bella on British Columbia’s central coast. Their territory stretches across a vast network of islands, inlets, and old-growth rainforests. The Heiltsuk have occupied and governed these lands and waters since time immemorial, building a culture shaped by the sea, cedar, ceremony, and hereditary leadership.
